We’ve had a good few of these Classic vibes in and without doubt each one has been exceptional and flies out the door - until this one which has raised the bar far higher.
Finished in timeless Fiesta Red and built around the hugely respected Classic Vibe platform, this Indonesian built Strat has been carefully upgraded into something genuinely special — a guitar that comfortably punches far beyond its price point and, in all honesty, outplays many modern Fender Stratocasters.
Presented in near-new condition, this is an exceptionally clean and beautifully cared-for example that looks every bit as special as it sounds.
The first thing that stops people in their tracks is the neck.
This guitar features an exceptionally rare flame maple neck with outrageous three-dimensional figuring that absolutely dances in the light. Under certain angles the flame becomes almost holographic — deep ripples moving across the maple in a way photographs simply struggle to capture. Combined with the rich vintage amber tint, it gives this Strat the look and feel of a boutique custom-shop instrument that’s been lovingly aged for decades.
It is, without exaggeration, one of the most beautiful necks I’ve ever seen on a Classic Vibe.
And then there’s the weight.
Coming in at approximately 7.6lbs, this is exactly what you want from a great Strat — light, resonant and incredibly alive in the hands. It hangs perfectly on a strap, feels effortless to play for hours, and has that airy acoustic response that so many heavier guitars simply lack.
But this guitar isn’t just about looks.
Loaded with a genuine Fender fully-loaded Stratocaster scratchplate featuring Tex-Mex pickups, the tone is absolutely alive. Expect fiery Texas blues bite, glassy bell-like neck pickup tones, beautifully vocal in-between positions, and a raw, snarling bridge pickup that cuts through a mix with authority and attitude.
There’s depth, complexity and dynamic response here that you simply don’t expect from most production Strats.
A genuine Fender Stratocaster bridge has also been fitted, adding increased sustain, resonance and a more substantial, harmonically rich Strat tone. Every note feels more solid, more expressive and more musical.
Finished with a genuine Corona, California neck plate, this guitar has all the vibe of an old-school hot-rodded Strat built by somebody who knew exactly what mattered: tone, feel and character.
