At just 7.3 lb — approximately 7 lb 5 oz — this is a particularly light and comfortable example. The rich sunburst, white scratchplate and beautifully ambered maple neck give it an authentic mid-’50s appearance, with more than a hint of that clean, elegant Eric Johnson vintage-Strat aesthetic.
The three Fender-designed Alnico single-coil pickups deliver everything you would want from a traditional Strat: warm and rounded neck tones, glassy in-between sounds and plenty of bite from the bridge. The comfortable maple neck, vintage-style hardware and classic tremolo complete the old-school feel.
Fender Squier have absolutely nailed the quality of these professional grade instruments - they sound as good or better than Mexican Strats, look amazing, are often very light, and they fly out the store I really can’t get enough of them in!!
This guitar has seen remarkably little use and remains exceptionally clean throughout. A particularly attractive, lightweight example that looks, feels and sounds far more expensive than its price suggests.
